Is Your Inside Aligned with Your Outside?
Introducing "Internal Affairs"
We all know the feeling of trying to keep it together on the outside while things feel chaotic on the inside. We present our best selves to the world, but God is interested in something much deeper. At Kingdom Culture Church, we have officially launched a new, transformative sermon series: "Internal Affairs."
This isn't just a catchy title; it’s a prophetic call to action. God is inviting us to stop focusing solely on our external appearance and start doing the necessary work of aligning our inner lives with His divine purpose.
What Does "Internal Affairs" Really Mean?
In a professional setting, "Internal Affairs" is the department that investigates when things go wrong within an organization. Spiritually, God is doing the same for us. He is conducting an investigation of our hearts, not to condemn us, but to cleanse us and prepare us for the next level of our journey.
As Apostle Nicky Collins shared, God is requiring us to align our internal reality—our hearts, minds, and motives—with the external image we present to the world.
The Three Pillars of the Heart
To understand our "Internal Affairs," we have to look at the three core aspects of human nature that God is currently auditing:
1. The Mind: This is your place of thinking, reasoning, and storing memory. If the enemy gets a foothold in your mind, it’s hard to get him out. We need strategy, discipline, and the Word of God to regulate our thoughts.
2. The Affections: This is the seat of your emotions, passions, and desires. It’s where we decide what we truly love. God is calling us to have self-control over our passions so they don't lead us away from Him.
3. The Will: This is your internal control center. It’s where you make the choice to obey or resist. God is asking us to surrender our will to His, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Why Now? The "U-Turn" Season
The message is clear: We are in a season of the "U-Turn." Like a GPS that recalculates when you miss an exit, the Holy Spirit is actively rerouting those who have drifted.
God is preparing us for a season of **multiplication**—a faster, more abundant way of adding to our lives. But to handle this level of blessing, He needs to be able to trust us with it. He is transforming our "hearts of stone" into "hearts of flesh" so that we can walk in His statutes and fulfill the purpose for which we were created.
A Challenge for Your Week
This week, we invite you to stop and ask God the hard questions. Don't just pray for external changes; pray for internal alignment.
- Ask: "Lord, investigate me. What motives are driving my actions?"
- Surrender: Identify one area where you’ve been resisting God’s process and choose to submit it to Him today.
- Align: Remember that your restoration isn't just for your sake—it’s for the glory of God’s name. When you change, the world sees His power.
We are so excited about this series. Let’s commit to being a people who are as beautiful on the inside as we are on the outside.
