I am honored to help organize the Shades of Pink Empowerment Prayer Breakfast because I believe deeply in the power of faith, prayer, sisterhood, and community. My passion for this cause is also very personal. I lost my mother to breast cancer and my father to another form of cancer, so I understand firsthand the impact cancer can have on individuals and entire families.

For me, this is more than an event. It is an opportunity to turn personal loss into purpose, service, and support for others. Through this prayer breakfast, we can come together to honor survivors, remember those we have lost, encourage those who are still fighting, support their families, and raise awareness about breast cancer.

My hope is that every woman who attends leaves feeling uplifted, empowered, supported, and reminded that she does not have to walk her journey alone.

Through Shades of Pink, I am grateful to help create a space where faith meets awareness, compassion meets action, and women come together in strength and love.

I feel truly blessed to be a part of the Shades of Pink Empowerment Prayer Breakfast. I believe one of the most important parts of any healing journey is knowing that God is with you and having a supportive, faith-filled community of believers around you to love, encourage, and uplift you along the way.

I see this event as an opportunity for us to come alongside one another and offer support in the midst of whatever we may be facing in our lives. It is a chance to pray, to recognize and honor those affected by breast cancer, and to enjoy meaningful fellowship together.

For me, being a part of Shades of Pink is about helping create the kind of community I believe people need throughout their healing journeys—a community rooted in faith, compassion, encouragement, and love.

I chose to be a part of the Shades of Pink Empowerment Prayer Breakfast planning committee because I believe in the power of coming together to bring awareness, encouragement, and support to those affected by breast cancer.

Serving on this committee gives me the opportunity to contribute my time, talents, and heart to a meaningful cause that touches so many lives. I am honored to help create an event that celebrates survivors, remembers those we have lost, supports those who are currently fighting, and reminds our community that no one has to face this journey alone.

For me, serving on the planning committee is more than volunteering. It is an opportunity to make a difference, inspire hope, and be part of something that truly matters.
